Support knowledge development: Conduct desk research and analysis on the policy, business and investment enabling environment to support evidence-based advocacy activities. These include insights on relevant policy frameworks for agroecology, agroecological entrepreneurship and investment trends.
Support evidence dissemination & sensitization: Develop, update and promote key knowledge and advocacy products, including tools, case studies, and target audience focused communication materials.
Conduct networking & sensitization activities among public and private actors in the policy and financier communities in the field of agriculture & food systems.
Support/lead the coordination and organization of national, regional and international policy and investment related events, including roundtables, multistakeholder dialogues, conferences, and high-level meetings.
Assist in monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), reporting, and fund-raising processes for the P&A department.
Provide organisational and logistic support for the P&A programme, including coordination with other teams at Biovision, internal representation, management of partnerships and project cycle processes.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in sustainable agriculture with ideally an emphasis on policy and participatory processes or entrepreneurship and investment; working experience in the development and cooperation sector, ideally in agroecology or closely associated concepts is a plus;
A solid background in agriculture and food systems, or a related field in natural or social/political/economic sciences (Master Degree);
Experience in organising events and conducting communication and outreach activities;
Experience in the support of projects in complex and dynamic environments;
Ability to work independently, pragmatic, and solution-oriented, outstanding interpersonal and intercultural skills;
Readiness to travel frequently (mainly in Sub-Saharan Africa);
Excellent command of English oral and written (C1/C2), good knowledge of German (C1) and good knowledge of French (B2);
Swiss passport or residence permit C / B.
