Management, coordination and further development of a portfolio of projects and programmes in Sub-Saharan Africa, including collaboration with other departments and related processes
Country lead Kenya, topical lead for environmental topics, and key account for the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe)
Management and coordination of activities related to the global dissemination of knowledge generated through projects and programmes
Contribution to the development of new project, programme, and collaboration models for the global scaling of agroecological best practices from our project and programme portfolio
Leading the Strategic Initiatives Learning Communities (SILC) for the thematic Areas “Development of agroecological production systems / Research” and “Dissemination of agroecological knowledge”
Providing feedback and support across the entire department
Master’s degree in natural sciences, agronomy or similar
At least 5 years of professional experience with a focus on sustainable agriculture, agroecology, nature conservation, or similar fields; experience in the tropics is an advantage
Experience in project and programme management
Strong analytical, synthesis, conceptual and presentation skills
Computer skills in standard Office applications
Proficiency in English, very good command (oral and written) of German (B1);
Swiss passport or residence permit C / B.
We offer a challenging position in a dynamic team and an innovative NGO with an annual salary between CHF 100,400 and CHF 110,400, adequate social security and a centrally located workplace in Zurich.
