Global Medical Training & Field Effectiveness Manager

Role responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the global medical education and soft-skills training strategy aligned with company objectives and portfolio priorities

  • Conduct joint customer visits with regional teams to reinforce training application and ensure maximum field effectiveness and impact

  • Identify regional capability gaps across medical knowledge, scientific communication, and professional skills, leveraging best practices and existing regional initiatives

  • Ensure alignment between clinical evidence, learning objectives, and approved scientific positionin.

  • Establish global training standards, governance models, and scalable learning frameworks

  • Own global LMS content governance with a focus on medical education, sales skills, and soft-skills training

  • Design modular, scalable training programs covering medical fundamentals, scientific communication, value-based selling, and customer engagement

  • Measure training effectiveness, ensure content quality and consistency, and drive continuous improvement with timely updates

  • Enable regional adaptation of training materials while maintaining global standards and governance

  • Develop global medical training modules on disease understanding, clinical pathways, and interpretation of clinical evidence

  • Collaborate closely with the Global Clinical Evidence Manager to reflect the latest data and insights in training content

  • Align training content with Regulatory/Q&R to ensure consistency with approved claims and compliant engagement

  • Support and enable train-the-trainer models across regions to ensure effective local delivery.

  • Design and deliver (directly or via agency) professional capability and sales skills training, including value-based selling, objection handling, and scientific storytelling

  • Co-own MOH educational content with the global medical team and support speaker preparation and session structuring

  • Attend key MOH events and congresses to ensure educational quality, alignment, and impact

Candidate Profile:

  • University degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Education, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in medical education, training, or commercial capability building, preferably in a global environment

  • Proven experience managing LMS platforms and related tools (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva, or similar systems)

  • Strong instructional design, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to translate complex clinical evidence into clear, practical learning content

  • Fluent in English; German and/or French highly valued

  • Willingness to travel approximately 30–40% annuall
